2011 APHA FALL WORLD SHOW
I can't believe the World Show is just around the corner!! talk about the year flying by!. We are once again leaving early November to
travel to Fort Worth TEXAS USA to compete and watch the World Show. This year we are showing 2 horses, "MULTIPLES" competing in Open 3yo Mares with Jason Smith
& Amateur 3yo Mares with Craig Dengate and "TOUCHDOWN HOPE" competing in Yearling Paint Bred Mares with Tim Finkenbinder & Amateur Yearling Paint Bred Mares with
Craig Dengate.
GOOD LUCK!!!
AMQHA 2011 SELECT QUARTER HORSE WORLD SHOW
A massive thank you to Melinda Minnis who took our gorgeous filly "Touchdown Hope"on board for the 2011 AMQHA Select World Show. I can't believe we stayed up for 3
nights watching the halter classes as late as 3am - boy did that knock me around but I wouldn't have missed it for anything!. I was just so proud to see Hope
again and I could tell she looked just awesome eventually taking 6th place from 20 competitors. I am now really excited and looking forward to showing her at the
2011 APHA Fall World Show!
2011 ALL AMERICAN PAINT HORSE CONGRESS
I was away again in QLD judging a show when I received some awesome news. I had forgotten that our 3yo mare "Multiples" was going to the APHA Congress
which normally is held during October but this year was moved to the end of July. "Multiples" took out the Congress Champion for 3yo Mares!! I am so
happy!! and what fabulous news to receive! I believe she had so many comments and she was the most consistent placer amongst all the mare classes. Huge
thank you to Kelley & team at Diamond 2M Show Horses!! Can't wait for the World!!
QLD STATE PAINT HORSE CHAMPIONSHIPS JULY 2011
I always love going to Queensland, it always nice to travel north to the sunshine state. We only ended up taking 2 weanlings this time so it was a
lovely time with a lot less stress and work to do, almost like a mini horse holiday. Both our fillies did exceptionally well with BR Showsum Faith taking out
the QLD State Weanling Halter Futurity, State Champion Weanling Filly & 3rd Place in the all age Amateur Owner Mare or Filly. SC Isnt She Obvious once
again took all the blues! winning the Paint Bred Weanling Futurity, State Champion Paint Bred Weanling Filly & Grand Champion Paint Bred Filly or Mare along with
Amateur Paint Bred Grand Champion. Thank you to the QLD Paint Horse Association for obtaining a USA Judge and putting on another great friendly show!
SMITHS CREEK PAINT HORSES PROUDLY INTRODUCING
"TOUCHDOWN HOPE" USA
During our visit to the AMQHA World Show in Oklahoma we went to see a dual registered yearling filly that was sold by Diamond2B the previous year and
in the same stalls of Gene Parker Farms we spotted this very pretty awesome weanling filly who I just couldn't take my eyes off. Of couse the first thing I
always ask is " I bet she is NH " and when the reply was she is NN.....hmmm....didn't my wheels start turning in my head. Not only is this filly
outstanding and to go with that she already has an amazing show record and to top it off she could qualify for her APHA registration.....this was too good to be
true. We slept on it that night but honestly I really didn't sleep at all, something was really driving me and I just couldn't let her go.

2011 NPHA & NSWPHA STATE SHOW - HORSLEY PARK SYDNEY
Competing at NPHA is always a buzz, lots of gorgeous horses both Halter and Performance its no wonder its Australia's Best and Biggest Western Performance
Show!! This year was the first time we competed in the JVQ/Pheonix Farms $20,000.00 Weanling Halter Slot Futurity and I couldn't be happier with how our babies
went. I must say I was quite nervous with my newly aquired filly BR Showsum Faith, she had never been out before and I just didn't know what to expect but I was so
proud of her. Stepping out into the arena at 7pm at night was a big thing for her and although I could see she was a bit nervous she trusted me and I had so
much fun showing her and boy being white she stood out like a beacon! I was so proud of her placing of 5th place from being pulled out initially in 4th
and extremely proud of SC Isn't She Obvious" taking the 3rd place and also being named highest placed Paint Horse! The following day we showed in the
halter events where SC "Hes All Style" came out for his first event at the show. I was so proud when he won his paint colt class under 2 years competing
against the yearlings then to be named CHAMPION COLT/STALLION was just awesome. I have so much faith in this colt, he is truley a
stud colt with so much to offer and I knew it would only take a judge with a good eye, a World Conformation Horse Association Judge to see his potential as I
do. Congratulations Troy!!! who also won A/O Colt/Stallion and then the Overall Reserve Champion Amateur Owner Horse of all sexes. SC "Isnt She
Obvious continued on with her success winning the Paint Bred Filly or Mare, A/O Paint Bred Filly or Mare and the overall Reserve Champion Paint Bred of all
sexes . BR "Showsum Faith" also placed 2nd in the Paint filly 1yr & Under as well as Reserve Champion Paint Filly/Mare, A/O Paint Bred
Filly/Mare 3rd place.

2010 APHA WORLD SHOW
After leaving Sydney once again on Melbourne Cup day on our delayed flight we arrived in Los Angeles knowing that we had missed our connecting flight but
luckily our LA to DFW flight was also delayed due to bad weather so after a bumpy ride we landed safely at DFW. It was dark, raining and we had 2 hire cars to
pick up which was all going fine until I received a phone call and the second car accidently followed another car and when they realised it was the wrong car they
had no idea where they were and with no GPS made it a bit difficult. After many phone calles back and forth we eventually all found each other again
at the Texas Land and Cattle Steak house......and after all that excitement we sat down and all had a real Texas feast!! yumm what a meal!! made it all worth
losing the 2nd vehicle!
I can't believe how the years are flying by with 2010 being our 3rd year competing at the APHA World Show. We had another exciting time watching our horses
compete and proudly achieving some awesome results with Irreplaceable and Multiples both achieving top 5 with Craig taking out top 5 in the Amateur 2yo Mares with
Multiples. Multiples blew me away with her sheer size, she is such a big mare for a 2yo and still growing! Miss Shirley fell inlove with
Irreplaceable and this mare sure has personality plus!! and she just has this aura about her that just reels you in. She absolutley loves to be scratched
and will literally follow you around the stall and object if you happen to stop rubbing her! Shirley and I also found out that Irreplaceable loves beer!....so
she will fit in perfectly in Australia! I couldn't believe how much Exemplary had grown, he sure is one nice colt, very modern. Exemplary achieved
3rd in the Non Pro Weanling Stallion Slot Class with Craig and Reserve Champion Platinum Overo Weanling Stallions with Mike McMillan.
Once again we had an absolute awesome visit and World Show and can't wait for 2011!!

Another great adventure we had was travelling to ALLAN TEXAS, approx 2 hours from Fort Worth where we watched a rodeo which
was so much non stop action followed by a concert with USA Country Rock Band MONTGOMERY GENTRY!!! What a night!!! now thats what I call ENTERTAINMENT!! Below
left you will see a monkey riding a sheep dog, I thought at first this was a doll strapped to the dog but it was a live monkey!!
SMITHS CREEK PAINT HORSES PROUDLY INTRODUCES YOU TO OUR
WORLD CHAMPION MARES
" IRREPLACEABLE"
&
"MULTIPLES"
Multiples is an outstanding filly and extremely modern already at an incredible 16.2hh, a 2yo which I watched take
the honours in being crowned WORLD CHAMPION in the Amateur Yearling Mares last year at the 2009 World Show. "MULTIPLICITY " is her dam, a mare
that I have always adored who is a 3 x WORLD CHAMPION & 4 x RESERVE WORLD CHAMPION with current life time halter points of 577 and "MULTIPLES" is sired by the
famous 4 x WORLD CHAMPION and Multi World Champion sire "RH IMPRINTED"
Thank you to Jim & Elizabeth Buechler for selling us this OUTSTANDING filly!
"IRREPLACEABLE" a 3yo mare is equally OUTSTANDING and is a WORLD AND RESERVE WORLD CHAMPION and is
the current WORLD CHAMPION at the 2010 SUMMER YOUTH WORLD SHOW in 3yo Mares! She is just devine and is a powerhouse of muscle, very strong short
back, tonnes of pretty with all the trimmings, standing at 16hh and she is one of those mares that just loves to show! "IRREPLACEABLE" is sired by WORLD
CHAMPION QUARTER HORSE "IMA MR COOL SKIP" from the outstanding mare "CC LOOTS FANCY" a SUPERIOR HALTER mare who is a 4 x WORLD CHAMPION and 3 x RESERVE WORLD
CHAMPION PRODUCER.
Thank you to Kenneth & Lisa Maxwell for selling us this INCREDIBLE mare!!
Special Thanks also to Olin Parker and Kelley Diegnan Stone for making this all happen!
SMITHS CREEK PAINT HORSES ALSO PROUDLY INTRODUCES YOU TO
"ROCKIES CLUELESS GIRL"
BOOKED AND COMING TO AUSTRALIA EARLY 2011!!
During my visit in April this year I just fell inlove with this mare, she is so pretty, so pretty necked, backed and hocked
I just couldn't resist her but it has taken me some months to convince her sale but Im happy to announce she is now all ours! She produced an absolute stunning
overo filly by "Hes Stylin" in 2010 who was a late foal but I wouldn't be suprised if she is the next World Champion in Yearling mares in 2011, she is
devine! Rocky is being bred back the same and we expect her to arrive early in 2011.
SMITHS CREEK PAINT HORSES
Proudly Introduce you to our latest aquisition
" EXEMPLARY "
2010 APHA OVERO COLT USA
With the recent importation of our two awesome mares and no horses to show at the World Show I went back to
Texas during April to look at some suitable World Show prospects. I had not seen this colt until towards the end of my visit but as soon as I saw him I just
loved him! There was just something about him that got my attention straight up and I could not fault him and boy he sure has some presence!! "Exemplary"
is by 2 x WORLD CHAMPION & Multiple WORLD CHAMPION Sire "Intensley Tuff" and from WORLD CHAMPION producer "Sister Conclusion" AMQHA who herself is by
Multiple WORLD CHAMPION and CONGRESS CHAMPION sire "The Top Secret" and out of a "Mr Conclusion" daughter.
I am so excited to once again have the opportunity to show at the 2010 APHA World Show
Thank you once again to my great friends at Diamond2B Show Horses!!
Smiths Creek Paint Horses
Proudly Welcomes
" SHES INTENT " IMP
What a journey "Shes Intent" has had but she is finally here in Australia safe and sound and definately in foal. Pinky
started her journey with Sister but unfortunately she spiked a temperature just prior to officially starting her quarantine period in Los Angeles from travelling from
Texas. While Pinky was recovering we then were told that there were no flights out from LA to Australia the following month so at one stage our only option
was to send Pinky back to Texas, which just broke my heart thinking about it. Fortunately IRT who have been so great to deal with offered another option
which we took. Pinky then travelled to Kentucky and began quarantine once again and landed in New Zealand during May. After spending approximately another
8 weeks in New Zealand we were finally given the green light for Shes Intent to travel to Australia. I can't tell you how excited and relieved I was to finally
get the news to pick her up after 5 expensive months in transit!!

IMAGNIFICENT TOUCHDOWN'S 2009 WEANLINGS
This past weekend we attended a local futurity show and took advantage of taking some of the 2009 Spike weanlings for their
first taste of being in the show scene. Im glad I wasn't judging them as Im sure I would be stuck on making a decision but all in all they were all so well
behaved and showed like that had done it all before! SC Me Myself and I took all the glory at this show winning all her classes then taking out GRAND
CHAMPION PAINT HORSE, GRAND CHAMPION A/O PAINT HORSE, WEANLING HALTER FUTURITY WINNER and to top it off SUPREME LED EXHIBIT OF THE SHOW. Our paint bred
filly SC Shes An Obvious Touch also took honours in taking out GRAND CHAMPION PAINT BRED and GRAND CHAMPION A/O PAINT BRED but she did not contest the supreme class as we
had already put her away. It was so nice to receive all the lovely comments and it was such a pleasure to show them off. I am really looking
forward to the Nationals, come by our stable row and meet them, you won't be disappointed!
AMERICAN PAINT HORSE ASSOCIATION 2009 WORLD SHOW
"AN INTENSE DESIRE" once again did us proud and with Craig on the shank the pair were placed an awesome 3rd place in the
Amateur 2yo Mares. Craig did an absolute fabulous job showing Sister and I was just ecstatic when the first judge of 5 had him 1st on his card
followed by another 1st place a 3rd place a 6th place and a 9th. They were just so close to bringing home a World Show buckle and I can't tell
you just how proud I am of them both. Thank you again to all the team at Diamond2B Show Horses for absolutely everything that you have done for us to make
our dreams reality. You are the BEST!!!
CONGRATULATIONS TO AN INTENSE DESIRE & CRAIG DENGATE FOR ACHIEVING A REGISTER OF MERIT FROM THE AMERICAN PAINT HORSE
ASSOCIATION FOR AMATEUR OWNER HALTER.
I AM VERY CERTAIN THAT THIS WOULD BE A FIRST FOR AN AUSTRALIAN TO ACHIEVE THIS IN THIS EVENT!!!
WELL DONE!!!
USA TRIP NOVEMBER 2009
Once again we had an absolute awesome time catching up with all our friends and of course seeing our mares
again. It was great to once again experience the Quarter World Show and see lots of other aussies over there watching the show. We met up with
Melissa from Burke Stud for a few days and wished we had more time to show them around but we sure crammed in as much as we could. On our second last day we had
a very different experience. We were driving around Aubrey/Pilot Point area exploring when I noticed some buffalo in a field and I really wanted to show Melissa
& Scott so we drove into the drive way of the property & took some photos from the car. We noticed some people up at the beautiful house at the end of
the driveway so we drove up to let them know what we were doing. Im sure they were very suprised that 4 Australians just popped in to see their animals and
so they made us so very welcome and got some treats and we then toured their property feeding their buffalo, lamas and minature donkeys. That was a lot
of fun and those buffalo are just massive animals. We were just about to leave when they invited us into their stunning home and toured us around everywhere it
was just amazing!! and we had the best time. We were all just gobsmacked with the hospitality given to all four of us complete Australian strangers!!
but they assured us that this is what real Texans are like!! I plan to go back & visit with an Australian gift to show our gratitude.
Craig & I drove to Oklahoma a couple of days after our arrival to Texas to the very new ranch of Ted Turner and Terry
Bradshaw (TB Ranch) and oh my what a property. It was just beautiful and the facilities all brand new were just supreme. TB Ranch had purchased Self
Employed and we couldn't wait to see him. WOW what a stallion, I couldn't believe how much he had matured since we last saw him in 2008, he is one amazing
stallion, he definately has all the goods thats for sure and I am absolutely elated to have a mare in foal to him.
I was very excited to have been able to show Melissa Eeles from Burke Stud our two awesome mares in the USA.
Thank you Melissa for taking these photos below of An Intense Desire back home in the barn after the World Show. Looks like Sister is going through another
growth spurt, wow she's going to be one huge mare!!...

APHA FALL WORLD SHOW - November 2008
Oh what a feeling!! My eyes welled up with tears when our yearling filly "An Intense Desire" was awarded
RESERVE CHAMPION in the APHA WORLD SHOW YEARLING MARES SLOT CLASS which carried a total purse of $46,250.00 USD led by Andrea Simons. We made the
APHA news as well as our filly was the first Internationally owned Paint Horse to have placed so highly in the slots..... It was just AWESOME!! but that was
not the last of "An Intense Desire's " success. Mike McMillan took the shank for the Open World Yearling Mares and proudly received 4th place in a very
deep field of 22 of the best yearling fillies in the country, I was ecstactic!! I fell inlove with this filly the first moment I laid eyes on her
and I am so proud of her!!
My heartfelt thanks goes out to Linda & Bob Byrom and Kelley Diegnan -Stone from Diamond 2B Show
Horses for not only making our dreams come true but accepting us as part of the "family" we couldn't have wished for more!
